Retreats & Workshops

Usually when we think of growing we think of doing, yet the paradox of spiritual growth is that it often requires less striving and more allowing. A favorite Buddhist saying reminds us, "Our doing flows out of our being.” For most of us we are so busy doing we rarely take time to connect with our inner being.

Whether it is for a day, a weekend or longer, a retreat provides an opportunity to step out of our daily routines and reflect on how we are being invited into deeper relationship with ourselves, with others and with God. Once we quiet the outside voices clamoring for attention we begin to hear the still, small voice within, which is the first step toward living in alignment with the Divine Presence — the very ground of our being.

At every retreat I combine spiritual practices, teaching, group discussion and sharing, individual reflection time, prayer, silence and, of course, "breaking bread together" (aka eating!).

Here is a sampling of retreats I have facilitated:

  • Moving Through Transition with Intention and Grace

  • Awakening in God

  • Images of God

  • Prayer as a Way of Being

  • Living from the Inside Out

  • Letting Go Into God

  • Becoming Real — The Gift of the Spiritual Journey
